Tropical Balinese Garden

I recently finished this Tropical Balinese garden for a lovely couple in Laguna Beach.  The main objective of the garden was featuring a 3.5′ Buddha statue that they have owned for over 10 years.  My vision was to combine their love of the Hawaiian tropics and the aesthetics of a Balinese garden.  Some of my favorite features are the 125 year old carved Balinese wall which was mounted at the pool’s end, the wall niches cut out for candles, and the out door room that seats up to 15.   Here are a few quick shots of the completed project.  More to come…
