My Philosophy

A garden should be inviting, a place to relax, gather, and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. My designs create spaces that balance structure, comfort, and natural beauty, from intimate garden vignettes to outdoor rooms designed for entertaining and everyday living.

For more than three decades, I have studied and drawn inspiration from English, French, and classical European gardens. These traditions emphasize proportion, harmony, and the thoughtful layering of plants and architectural elements, principles that continue to guide my work today.

Beyond planting design, I often incorporate features such as pools, spas, water features, fireplaces, and other interactive spaces that enrich the experience of the garden. Each project is bespoke and carefully tailored to the home, the setting, and the people who will live in and enjoy the space.

Whether the inspiration comes from classical European gardens, romantic cottage plantings, or the unique character of the home itself, my goal is always the same: to create a garden that feels timeless, personal, and deeply connected to the way you want to live outdoors.
